About The Dionysian Season
This eclectic album consists mostly of songs I wrote and recorded in my apartment in Reykjavik, Iceland the winter and spring of 2010. Layers and layers of shakers, claps, tambourines, and sleigh bells, double-tracked vocals, arpeggiated synths. Toy piano and xylophone breakdowns. A few diminished chords thrown in for good measure.
Credits
myself - write, record, play, sing, produce, master Rachel Fannan - additional voice (three songs), cowriting (This Year...) Randy Martin - trumpet (Strong Enough) Linus - background voice (This Year..)
